Terms of Use

These terms govern the Pics by Eriks Photography private client galleries and the studio's Adobe Lightroom selection integration. By connecting an Adobe account or using the integration, the authorized studio user agrees to these terms.
Purpose and authorized use
The integration is intended for Pics by Eriks Photography and other users the studio expressly authorizes. It matches filenames from a confirmed client selection to original assets already present in the authorized Lightroom catalog and creates or updates a project album for the studio's editing workflow.
Adobe authorization
The photographer must connect an Adobe account they are permitted to use. Adobe access is granted through Adobe's authorization screen and remains subject to Adobe's own terms. The photographer may revoke that access through Adobe account permissions.
Photo matching and review
Album creation depends on proof copies and originals retaining matching base filenames. The integration reports missing or ambiguous names instead of intentionally choosing an uncertain original. The photographer remains responsible for reviewing the album before editing, exporting or delivering photographs.
Availability
We work to keep the gallery and integration available, but operation may depend on Adobe, hosting, storage, internet connectivity and other third-party services. Temporary delays or interruptions may occur. We may update the integration to improve reliability or comply with third-party requirements.
Prohibited use
Users may not connect an account without permission, attempt to access another person's private gallery or Lightroom catalog, interfere with security controls, or use the service to infringe copyright, privacy or other rights.
Ownership
Photographers and clients retain the rights they already hold in their photographs and personal information. Connecting Lightroom does not transfer ownership of original files to the integration.
Disclaimer and limitation
The integration is provided for workflow assistance. To the extent permitted by law, Pics by Eriks Photography is not responsible for indirect losses caused by third-party outages, incorrect filenames, unauthorized account access, or a user's failure to review a generated album. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
